Transportation - Train & City-Tram
With the start of the running competitions, there is always the challenge: "How do I get to the start?" The best way is to get directly to Lake Traunsee by public transport. With the OÖVV and ÖBB trains, you can get off in the immediate vicinity of the starting areas in Ebensee, Traunkirchen and Altmünster. The journey from Gmunden to the start areas and the use of the “Traunseetram” within Gmunden is free of charge for you with your starting-BIB! The BIB is valid as a ticket for both means of transportation!

BOATTRIP
It is also possible to take the boat from Gmunden to Ebensee or Gmunden to Traunkirchen - this can be booked with an extra charge of € 15,- when registering.
The boat departs from Gmunden (finish area) at approx. 5:30 pm and arrives in Traunkirchen or Ebensee at approx. 6:05 pm or 6:30 pm respectively.

It is also possible to take the boat from Gmunden to Ebensee or Gmunden to Traunkirchen! This can be booked with an extra charge of € 15,- when registering for the event.
Transport - Equipment
For all half marathon runners, equipment transportation will be provided by our premium partner WOLFHaus. WolfHaus will provide an articulated lorry so that equipment can be handed out quickly at Franz Josef Platz (in the immediate vicinity of the finish area).
There will also be equipment transportation from Traunkirchen and Altmünster to the finish in Gmunden! Our Premium-Partner POSTstrong> (austrian mailing service) will have “POST-Cars” available in the immediate vicinity of the starting lines. Departure of these equipment transporters is at 6:50 pm! The equipment bags can be picked-up at the Franz Josef Platz as well.

Jeder Teilnehmer erhält bei der Startnummern-Ausgabe ein Starter-Bag mit diversen Produkten. Das Team des Traunsee Halbmarathon ist bemüht, dieses Starter-Bag mit hochwertigen Produkten zu füllen! Auch die Teilnehmer des „SEP mini Marathon“ erhalten ein Starter-Bag (ohne T-Shirt) und ein Finisher-Bag nach dem Lauf (das angeführte Foto ist ein Symbolfoto und beschreibt nicht den endgültigen Inhalt des Starter-Bags)!

SUN-FINISHER or MOON-SHINER?
Start 19:08 - 21:08 Sunset! Will you make it to the finish in daylight or will you enjoy the sunset on the course? If you finish the half marathon in under two hours, you can call yourself a sun-finisher! Our "sun-shine Pace-Maker" will give you orientation and motivation on the course for your goal! All others who need a little more time are moon-shiners! A cold beer will also be waiting for you at the finish line as a reward for your personal achievements!
